The April 10–23 window is reverse-engineered to land just after the doors open, so the first night or two in Praiano should be pinned to Casa Angelina (open March 28), with the Borgo nights starting on or after the 14th. Tripadvisor and Indagare reviews converge: the Junior Sea View Suite is the sweet spot — large windows, handmade Vietri tiled floors, full Italian marble bath, uninterrupted sea views. For honeymoon-grade, the Junior Suite Sea View & Pool (private terrace pool) is the splurge worth taking once the season is barely two weeks old and the public pool is still cool. Avoid "village view" categories — the hotel's whole point is the sea. Universal advice across Earth Trekkers, AllTrails, FullSuitcase and Positano.com: April is one of the two prime windows (April–May and September–October) — wildflowers, no heat, clear views. Start in Bomerano (Agerola), walk to Nocelle, then bus or 1,500 steps down to Positano. Direction matters: this way it's mostly descending with the coast unfolding ahead. 3.8 mi, ~2.5 hours, moderate. Bring layers — sweater on, sweater off as clouds move. From Praiano, taxi up to Bomerano (~30 min) rather than wrestling with SITA buses.

Two consistent local favourites in Praiano that aren't in the plan: Il Pirata — terrace literally hanging over Marina di Praia with a cave-set lounge bar, family-run since the 1960s, famous for totani e patate alla praianese (squid and potatoes); and Trattoria Da Armandino — also at Marina di Praia, where local fishermen drop the catch each morning, no view drama but real Italian crowd. For a clubby late-night cocktail (not full dinner), Africana Club in its sea-cave is iconic but lean. Add Il Pirata as a casual lunch to balance the three Michelin-starred dinners.
